Best American Restaurant in Pierre

First time visit to Pierre and we accidentally found this place sightseeing. We popped in and sat on the restaurant side of the building. We got personal service from Scott, the manager! He was excellent—very personable, knowledgeable, and made our experience fun.

Good food the service was fantastic. They have pool tournaments, we went around closing time, so there wasn't a lot of people there. The waiter was wanting very friendly. It's an old establishment, but kept up very well. A great place for locals also. We'll definitely be back again.

We walked here after a painful day from a prayer service down the street for a family member. Without a reservation we flooded the place at 8pm with about 30 people into the restaurant. The male server we had was extremely calm, friendly, attentive, and accomplished everything in a timely manner.

Amazing service from very kind people! We stayed in Pierre for one night and had a late dinner around 9:30. Good suggestions on food, which all came out awesome. We liked a beer they had on tap enough that we wanted to go buy it in cans. They called the liquor store nearby to make sure they had it and gave us directions! Low key, dive bar (in the best way!) with great atmosphere.
